Casino Royale is just one movie. You'll see countless movies making hundreds of millions left and right. Videogames just can't compete.

Yet the games industry generates more revenue than the movie industry...


No it doesn't. Consoles, games and accessories combined generates more revenue than Box Office alone.

DVD sales, DVD player sales and theater concession sales is all revenue generated by the movie industry which isn't counted in those comparisons.

Similarly, CD players, iPods, and concert box office isn't counted in the comparisons with the music industry.
