The TEVs can cause slowdown, but Factor 5 stated that's only if you do them wrong. High Voltage stated they could do most of the HD effects on the Wii, using their engine, which optimizes the TEV bandwidth. The Conduit shows that.
A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.
