For the past year pubishers have been scrambling trying to rewrite their budgetary development plans to include Wii.
We will see. I am not aware of any blockbuster titles that are announced apart from some ports of games that are clearly primarily targeted at the HD consoles (Call of Duty5, Force Unleashed ... ). This is only different for games targeted at Japanese where the Wii really dominates.
@noname2000 there will be better support for a wide area of games on the Wii in the future I agree with that. I mean it will have 50% of marketshare soon. But its still an afterthought compared to HD consoles in FPS, Action, Fighters, Racing Sims ... And I doubt that this will change.
I think we will see a clear division between HD and Wii this gen. You could say that third-party devs were surprised by Wii success and this is true but it has been 18 months so this excuse will wear out soon. And I am always surprised that there are so many people who simply do not believe that.
PS3 and 360 are an order of magnitude more powerful than the Wii so they will dominate in classic games. That's not surprising. The Wii has innovative controls and dominates the casual market. I don't see what there is to argue here.
