If we say 10%, the OP says 33-34M. But, I have used 0.5 months extra (Wii launched in the middle of one) so they're spot on.

So their data on Ps3 is incorrect. We have no valid X360 data, so I ignore it.

They undertracked Ps3 probably - on purpose.

Are you actually claiming that NPD's software sales are less accurate than VGC's?  Because I seriously don't think that's the case.  I love VGC and all, but I think we can all admit that its software sales can be... iffy.

Edit:  Even so, that's a rather large discrepancy.  I cannot believe that VGC overtracked NPD by 10M...

Edit2:  The original Kotaku article lists PS3 1st + 3rd parties at about 22M, so if VGC total PS3 software sales are actually 33.7 (are you sure you got them correctly?  Could it actually be 23.7?), then it looks like we did overtrack PS3 software by about 10M (compared to NPD) during the period.  Crazy.

I did though June 08 for Ps3 and Wii. I believe that is correct.

NPD doesn't count MGS 4 - subtract 1M

NPD doesn't count most of Motorstorm - subtract 1.5M

NPD doesn't count Wii Sports. They're 12M above VGC actually. So if this is correct, that's a ~ 10M undertrack of Wii...
