As far as I can tell, Nintendo has already whupped MS and Sony in the motion control field. It has nothing to do with technology, but everything to do with passion.

If MS or Sony release a *mote, they'll only be doing it to say 'Oh, we have motion controls too!'. It'll never catch on because that's not what their consoles are about. Everybody knows that in order to make a good Wii game you need good motion controls, the same way that everyone knows in order to make a PS3/360 game you need cutting edge graphics. The same way that graphics are suffering on the wii because they aren't the main sell behind the games, support for any new *motes will be almost non-existent beyond 1st parties because they aren't why people are buying games for those systems.

Look at games like Lair on the PS3: They use motion control, but their hearts aren't in it.

Wii has more 20 million sellers than PS3 has 5 million sellers.
