I think I was in the minority, but I hated Far Cry. I thought the VA was cheesy, the story sucked, the gameplay was unbalanced, and the difficulty was cheap. I felt the game was over-rated due to it being the first decent "next-gen" game released.
That is just my opinion. In the end, I still did enjoy it only slightly less than the single player game in Halo 3. Both games I would recommend a pass though. I wonder if part 2 will fix some of those issues.
