I agree with Steven i don't think it's fair to attribute a lower attach rate purley to being out a year earlier , the XBOX 360 does have a better attach mainly due to the better more extensive libary of games and the demographic which the XBOX 360 sells to.
I think a much more interesting analysis would be how Microsoft would manage 25 million consoles in a year.
