10k is pretty bad, sony is like the biggest thing in jpn.
What about Nintendo?
I don't see the gap really being bridged in Japan. It's like when Crisis Core Monster Hunter 2 came out for the PSP and people were saying that the PSP was going to bridge the gap with the DS. Just because there was a big release, doesn't mean that it's actually doing better in the general picture.
Exactly. When MGS4 came out it caused a 1 week spike up to 70,000 or so units, but next week it was back down to normal again. They need consistent improvement rather than little spikes. Comparing the Media Create figures for the first 6 months of 2007 and the first 6 months of 2008, there's only a difference of around 8,000 so sales are pretty flat. That said, Nintendo Wii sales are way down comparing the same time period.
