why care so much about the casuals? they are guilty now of losing a huge chunk of the core audience from the GC era, people bought a 360 or a PS3, mostly 360 because of the lack of games on the wii and ps3. wii offers almost nothing so far compared to 360 and people shouldnt wait years for games to come... games that if multiplat are always better on the HDs. the best solution is to buy a 360 or a PC. too many few games released so far, the wii is lagging behind in terms of support and 3 partys reinforce this, I just wish nintendo hadnt take such a bad decision.

Maybe a good business decision but a very bad decision on the path the company is going to follow. the true gaming machines will be the hd consoles this gen while wii will focus on games that require no gameplay skills (like the majority of wii games so far). I always said the wii is a missed opportunity as nintendo should have focused on both hardcore and casuals, not just casuals and their franchise fans. they needed to get more 3 partys games and avoid what happend in the previous 2 gens. but they didnt.

IMO next gen, with the current image they have no core gamer will buy one just maybe nintendo fans if they hadnt lost them by then.

GO play the HARDEST game this generation Fire Emblem and then tell me that Wii games require no Skill. ALso you are doing nothing to persuade me that HD consoles are superior to the Wii, so you should just stop.
