Chicago has a chance of being the host city for the 2016 Summer Olympics...so there's obviously been tons of plans to renovate certain areas, change certain policies, make the place run perfectly.
One of the biggest changes that people will notice is the Chicago Spire, which will be the second tallest resendential building in the world, taller than the Sears Tower, only shorter than the tower in Dubai. It'll be done in a few years, they've already started construction.
But what do you think of it? I don't really know if it fits with Chicago's style...it just seems a little out of place, so close to the lake and Navy Pier...and it looks a little silly.

I don't really mind another gigantic skyscraper a third of a mile tall though...I guess I'm just so used to the current cityscape.

Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release. (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )
