A lot of the specs can just be decoded by reading codes on the components.

For example the IBM CPU reads:
"(IBM logo)" "BROADWAY" "39X6735" "IBM9316" "BWYC-72914" "06340706V 14" All the numbers in the sequence have meaning, just like a VIN on a car (except the last 6?).
Most of the more detailed numbers were leaked by devs, which were then quietly confirmed by other devs.
I would cite regulation, but I know you will simply ignore it.
