And it's not all about games either. Upgrading my PC means faster everything, and that's definitely a big reason for upgrading. Being able to have more processes and applications open at once, handling dual monitors with craploads of stuff going on at once...definitely a plus.
EDIT: Yeah...I'm not a pro gamer or anything...I just like PC gaming...it's not that impossible...
And yeah, Kwaad, you paid too much for your case. Cases aren't important...you learn to go cheap on cases, although definitely not cheap on power supplies...you can buy cheap fans for your case, you can't screw up your power supply unless you like living on the wild side...
