I'd like to see you find a $43.99 Blu-ray player, oh wait you must still be living in the stone ages with your tube tv, and that awesome analogue signal, must be awesome living with such advanced tech, I on the other hand am a poor man living with the ancient HDtv technology and it's crummy digital signal, and man is HDMI crap, wish I had them composite cables, but alas we all can't be as wealthy as you :(

 

 

UHM, you do realize that in general Tube HDTV's display a better picture than LCD, Plasma, And DLP TV's.... right?

 

Man, i must be living in the dark ages with my 1080P sony Wega tube HDTV... w

 

 In fact, I have a JVC Tube HDTV, 32", 720p with two HDMI inputs... and I also have am LCD Sharp Aquos 1080p, 42"... and honestly, the CRT JVC has an excellent image quality, way better than my Sharp: the JVC has perfect blacks, perfect whites, no response time problems... it has a better image quality overall.

Of course, the Sharp Aquos looks prettier: very thin, glossy piano black, etc... but  since I bought my JVC, I only play on that TV. The Sharp is now for movies and TV.
