this is quite old, the Ps3 with the 65nm CELL, smaller Blu-ray drive, smaller motherboard, smaller cooling fan, and no EE/GS (40GB model) should have at least cut the power usage to at least 280w. Once the 45nm CELL and 65nm RSX are installed which means smaller mother board and cooling fan I;d expect it to run at least at 220w.
