That's a good thing. Competition is what keeps the industry strong, thriving, and innovative. Had the PSP not stepped in, the Japanese market likely would have began to shrink quickly.
Anyways, Soul Calibur sells to the audience that that PS3 has already captured, I would guess. I put my guess in the prediction league at 12k for the PS3, so I should still make around 750 vg$ or so. Not too shabby, especially counting in my Wii hardware prediction which looks to be spot on (since the Wii keeps so steady). If Stickball updated the leagues consistently, you'd see me as a regular customer (I still love you Benjamin).
The PSP seems pretty close to the DS. I would not have expected the Dragon Quest boost to last so long.
