Bahaha, no they don't. They don't at all. Windows XP 32 bit doesn't even recognize 4 GB of RAM and above...

Most new retail computers come with 2-3 GB of ram standard.

 

I'm looking at a Best Buy flyer and a Future shop flyer right now and they have computers with 5gb, 6gb and 8gb of ram.

Having computers in stock that have 8 GB of RAM is different than " Most new computers come with 6gb to 8gb of ram now." The vast majority of new computers have under 4 GB of RAM, I don't know what you're trying to do here.
