I already have GTA on Wii.

It's called Godfather, and EA's making a new one for '09 which looks like it might have some intriguing gameplay innovations.

They are? Link? It's not that I don't believe, you, but I like to have proof.

They just put up some details on gonintendo. It isn't confirmed for Wii yet, so I might be setting myself up for disappointment, but this is EA we're talking about. The Wii version might just come out a few months after the 360 one.

I don't remember physics playing a major role in GTA's gameplay before, but I do remember combat controls sucking severely on the PS2 games. Godfather's combat controls were amazing, and made melee and firearms very satisfying.

Was there anything that GTA IV's physics enabled you to do which couldn't be done on previous GTAs?

Well, I really liked the car physics in GTA4, and the overall feeling just being in the city, but yeah the controls are very clumsy.

But after having played GTAIV with those graphics and physics, at least I wouldn't want to go back to Wii grapchis.

If they make a Gta for Wii I would like them to change the gameplay a lot. The missions are too repetive, no physics/graphics or even good controls will change that IMO.
