I dunno :P I'm just not looking hard enough I guess xD If it really isn't that obvious, it's just nit-picking. I'm not sure what it is, but I REALLY get this vibe from you that you just WANT to hate Killzone 2, it might be the "sony hype", or maybe Gorilla Games raped your family, hell your reason could be a damn good one, but I'm definitely getting that feeling of hostility :P It's just a game bro ^_^

Stage, Halo series is what I would define as "average" because the mechanics behind the gameplay leave little to the imagination, you get a gun, you shoot, nothing more. At least with Resistance you get the secondary fires, which go hand in hand with the primary's, and there's just SO much strategy that you can use. Killzone 2 is looking to have the class system going for it, and I can guarantee you it will add plenty of diversity to the gameplay :P Unlike other games I've played, these titles DO have they're own system of doing things, and for that reason alone I can't say they're terribly mundane.

How is Halo average? It helped define what a console shooter was supposed to be. It pushed envelopes. Unreal did the same thing with Unreal 2004 soon after Halo. Gears of war is made with the unreal engine and thats just damn awesome. Resistance is a cookie cutter shooter, just like Killzone 2. KZ2 is extremely beautiful if viewed in HD though, i'll give them that. I'm sorry but I doubt those games can give you the gameplay fun of Halo. Thats the funniest thing i've ever heard. I've been playing FPS since Wolfenstein and Quake and Nuke 'em. Halo is nothing like those games, yet resistance holds similarity to it. KZ2 looks like a carbon copy fear with revamped graphics and armor, minus the ghosts.
