Seriously dude, its utter shite, like the guy said further up, 100+ levels of random rubbish...it wasn't even made by the original sonic team and apart from the race with metal sonic its appallingly bad.

Buggy as well.

Also...Sonic CD was made by the same people that did Sonic 1. Sonic 2 was made by an American team under upervision of Yuji Naka (original creator) While the rest of the sonic 1 team worked on sonic CD.

Fair enough, didn't mean to have a dig at you personally. I thought the general concensus was that Sonic CD was a complete joke and almost couldn't be considered a "Sonic" game. Gameplay seemed extremely wacky and had no direction...go to the future...back to the past...I dunno just seemed like an empty adventure game with nothing in it.

I take your point about Knuckles Chaotix, that also isn't really a "Sonic" game, but back when I got the 32X (yes I know) it did look lovely and I really liked the art direction, the music also compared to the old megadrive stuff was fantastic. Metal sonic had real character I thought. But hey each to their own.
