Looking for a fighter: Burst Limit or Soul Calibur IV?

The things I care about most:

How long each game will have fresh content.
How easy it is to pick up and play, even for non-gamers.
How combo focused it is (don't want too much combo focus)

Blaz Blue (The new Guilty Gear franchise)

Street Fighter 4.
