I think everyone supports the idea that digital distribution is the future. The great thing about Sony is they currently support both a high definition disc format AND digital distribution. Microsoft supports neither, although they talk about them a lot.

Last I checked, this thread is about distribution of games, where both companies are about neck and neck in both kinds of distribution.

This thread is all over the place. The last I checked it was about how MS believes in digital distribution but they have yet to release any full length 360 games via that method.

You didn't quote anyone, so I assumed you were making a general comment. That doesn't exactly help keeping the thread on topic...

Did Sony release any full length PS3 game online? As far as I know, they released GT5:P (basically a cut down version of a game) and Siren split in chapters (or at least I recall seeing a thread about that).

It doesn't seem like either Microsoft or Sony are very different in terms of game distribution right now.

I would say that Sony is ahead of MS in digital distribution for games.

Warhawk (Blu-ray)
GT5P(Blu-ray)
Fatal Inertia (This was a full dvd release on 360)
Siren (10 gig episodic download)(Blu-ray)
Socom Confrontation(Blu-ray)

Thanks for the input, Jeff.
