I'm quite curious about this. GTAIV was estimated or rumored to cost rougly $100 million to make so what would a Wii version cost? Certainly, it will not be anywhere near that level but a ground-up GTA for the Wii should at least run in the low tens of millions. Is Take-Two willing to risk that much money on the Wii? Of course, they could be reusing various components from the other GTA games.
