I'm not saying that Wii only owners would never buy the game, but if you owned only a Wii, and a 2.5 year old port-make came to your system, would you pay full price for the game?

I would hope people would wait until the price dropped to buy it.

It's a moot point anyway.

RE4 Wii was budget priced, this will be too.

Ninja Gaiden Sigma. Just a counter example, there are probably more.

I didn't know that Team Ninja made Dead Rising.  I could have sworn it was Capcom, who, through the past have shown on the Wii to release port-makes of games at budget pricing, a la Resident Evil 4.

You didn't say your theory was only supposed to be valid for Capcom.

I can also say: I could have sworn RE4 was a last-gen game.

What about Lost Planet for PS3? Wasn't it a full-priced game?

And I think Capcom has learned their lesson about Full-priced port-makes.

Don't do it.

I don't know why we're arguing though, you too should want the game to be budget priced, it'd be much easier to sell that way.

Based on what? One game, that likely sold slowly due to nonexistant marketing rather than price?

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.
