Have fun with all the WRONG! I do believe it will help it outsell the PS3 by a substantial margin unless Sony responds with a cut of their own, and the mass market price might take a LIIIIIIIITTLE bit of the Wii's potential sales, but I still completely laugh in the face of your prediction.
Ok... do you really think people buy the Wii because they see the little white box sitting there and say "how much is that?" and are given the answer "$250"... "Wow, that's cheaper than the other consoles, I should buy one!".
Or, is it more likely that they PLAY the Wii and have FUN with it, hence the reason they decide to purchase it. Even if the Wii's price advantage ends (temporarily), its hype and fun advantage won't end any time soon.
This is just one of many reasons why your prediction is full of fail. Sorry.
