Really, such a sudden and big drop wouldn't happen in the course of a week, even if some factors were making Wii demand go down.

 

Oh no, I wasn't trying to argue that the sudden loss of 50,000-odd Wii units was the responsibility of the X360. I just think that maybe a slight number (4,000-5,000) may have been because of that.

 

Well, can't argue with that really ;) The problem is that even such an effect were present, it would be very hard to notice it amidst all the supply fluctuation.
