re: Wii sales:
I'm not sure if its school, supply or some other factor (retailers holding back) - but it is definitely NOT demand (or just demand).
Reasoning is that demand "slowly" drops - especially when there haven't been major releases for a while. Wii sales are down almost 50% from last week, and that is definitely not what you would expect from one "random" week of weakened demand.
...
On other numbers:
- DS going strong, another 200k sold in just a week.
- PS3 numbers improved "slightly", but if they stay like this for too much longer, its going to be real trouble. Another week of 360 > PS3 worldwide confirmed. At least it will sell more than 120k this week (Leo! ;)
- 360 looking a lot healthier (for now anyway)
- PSP pretty steady, as usual
