Nintendo Co., President Satoru Iwata was recently asked to comment on speculation about Nintendo's plans after the Wii. "The hardware team started work on the next thing as soon as they were done with their previous project, but what they think up doesn't necessarily become a product. We only turn something into a product after it's been thoroughly vetted inside the company. We're not at a point where we can give specifics, but of course we're working on it." Iwata replied.

The article describing the information contained in the source was done by Maxconsole , I've been arguing that Nintendo will have no choice but to loose momentum , in the first 2 years of the Wii's existance many of it's biggest IP's have been thrown at us I was shocked to find Super Mario Kart and Smash Bros Brawl come out in the same year , I heard some where on these forums that Nintendo were going for a 10 year stratergy with the Wii but  I seriously dought the Wii could last another 3 years without serious 3rd party support , what's your take on this ?

Oh and for alll those of you who will probably bring some sales statistics in an atempt to disprove me, re-read the post because this has little to do with the Wii's current sales performance but everything to do with Nintendo supporting the platform and keeping it strong.

OMG... read the article. Your thread states that the Wii is losing steam, when in reality, the only thing that it says is the original proposal that Miyamoto had created has been used up. Does anyone really think he has NO more ideas? Please, if anyone reads my post, read the actual article on any of the other sites and make your own conclusions, don't just read this drivle and take it for fact.
