XBOX 360 D-Pad is no good...

Oh, you mean that dinnerplate thing that is always choosing the wrong weapon in Gears.

Lol, true. I am playing through gears right now, and that together with the A-button doing everything (in other words, often doing what you don't want) makes for some annoying moments. Great game so far though, more variety in the missions than I expected.

 

 

Yeh that does get annoying, though the cover system does seem to work better than Uncharted's. I have actually had no problem with the d-pad in Gears, but as montana says, in AC I select the wrong weapon 50% of the time it seems, and I have very little idea which one is actually selected because the icon is so small on my tv.

With my playstations I am used to switching between analogue sticks and the d-pad for menu, but that just does not work on the Xbox
