Nintendo already has dedicated servers, already allow movies streaming, already allow to download demos.
Everything just goes under the radar, it's a different online experience than its competitors, in that it's seamless and on the Wii, it's so well integrated that you forget it's there. The fact you can leave the console connected 24/24 7/7 is already a huge plus.
Iwata is smart, he already explained all that, but as always, he sees Nintendo's competitors and the gaming press won't listen, so he doesn't make any effort anymore, and just plays with them, with the exact same easy tactic he used before : "we don't compete ...". And the moron interviewer is falling for it again.
