I love when people don't read the topic at all and just rehash the same ignorant post over and over.
Regardless of how "your books" end it's far from fact that the Wii can't run RE5. Stop being so close minded and just go watch that video. There is nothing amazingly revolutionary in RE5 that can't be done on the Wii. There are plenty of other titles on HD consoles I will agree can't be ported to the Wii without massive sacrifices that could ruin or at least change the game.
RE5 is clearly not one of them. Whereas SW:TFU (your example) has the DMM and Euphoria technology to worry about, RE5 has nothing special. Even the animations are the exact same from the animations that were on the PS2! It is for all intents and purposes RE4.5 and could easily work on the Wii.
