They are not going to pack it with the Wii until WS:R has been released. Nintendo is not really the one to do new SKUs, but they could provide a more expensive Wii with MP more memory and WS:R co-insiding with a price cut for the older version wii.
I think 3rd parties are going to utilise heaps, look at the BB, there are roughly 6 mil of those and it is being supported. I predict WS:R to be bought by atleast a third of the people that have the original and thus will make 10 mil sales quite easily.
Nintendo = Innovation = Wii
