@Grandmaster,
I will definitely give you that the Wii doesn't have as diverse a library as the PS2 (what console does?), but I think you are stretching it a long ways to try and say the PS3 library is more diverse. I think the problem here is that you are lumping all casual games into one category "casual" and then splitting up the hardcore games with RPG, FPS, etc... Really there is a huge breakdown of casual games with all sorts of different types that you marginalize by doing that.
With that said I think the Wii is the only system at the moment with a compelling library for casual gamers. On the plus I happen to enjoy casual games because sometimes I don't have 3 hours to play but maybe only 15 minutes, and its nice to be able to hop on and off that quick. Thats what the "normals" love about those games, they aren't a commitment and they don't have to get deeply involved.
Now with the hardcore games, once again I will agree I don't think the Wii has a full-fledged hardcore game library....yet. But they are coming, you have to remember that back in E3 '06 most people still thought the Wii was going to be just another Gamecube as far as sales were concerned. So now that the 3rd party support has taken notice and they are making games, they will fill that hardcore games void. And 1st party titles are already going to provide a solid start this year before X-mas.
