I hope they can sell them cheaper than that. It's hard to say what actual production costs are and what deal Nintendo has with InvenSense. Ideally they can get the production of MEMS gyroscopes down to the cost of traditional silicon devices. The one used in the Wii Motion Plus claims to be the worlds smallest (dual axis), which in turn would lead to their claims of low cost. I'll be safe and say $15. Anything less would require me being more optimistic or having more information.
