Yes it will.
1. Every game from Capcom that has been put on the Wii has exceeded their expectations.
2. RE4:Wii Edition, a 2 yr old game, has outsold its original platform.
3. Dead Rising is being ported. It was an exclusive 360 game and has been ported to be Wii centric. Granted it may turn out to be crap, but it looks good so far and with the exception of lighting and shadows, it looks to be the same overall game.
4. Have you seen the latest video comparison between RE4 and RE5? They are almost the same game with the obvious location differences. Granted RE5 has much better lighting and some more detail. However, as shown with Dead Rising you can turn down some of those affects and make the rest of the system work just fine.
I guarantee there will be an RE5:Wii Edition with much better controls and some new levels for Wii announced either before the RE5 HD versions launch or within a few months afterword.
