Anyway, I already bought Okami and played it and its more than I expected, the negative things reviewers and video game blogs are blown away out of the water. The gameplay, the graphics and the theme was perfect you really dont have anything to say on the flaws of the game...
The celestial brush stroke was harder on the Wii than on the PS2 version. You need to precise on brush stroking for it to register. Simply not true, I admit I have a hard time on brush stroke techniques but its only because Im just new on this and its not because of the game and not because of the wiimote, I have mistakes especially on the straight lines and the tree part of the game(you know what I mean), but you get used to it only for about 20 minutes. After that the brush stroking feels natural you dont need to even think you just do it.
Theres one minor flaw of the game though, and this was really true its the attack combo since you use the waggle to attack instead of the a button. The funny part this is the real flaw of the game and yet I never heard it from the reviews I've watched so far, and they complain about the brush strokes which isnt true at all.
I cant get used to combo attacks FOR NOW, since I just played this game recently but for me it doesnt matter, since it didnt hinder the gameplay at all. There are more techniques you can use like the cherry bomb and the slash attack to kill the enemies anyway, so it doesnt matter...
All in all, I could give this game a 9.7, it would be a perfect score 10 if not for the combo attacks but asides from that, this game was perfect for me.
For anyone that never played Okami on Ps2 before, just buy the Wii version if you dont own the Ps2 version yet. You'll not be disappointed the wiimote makes the difference...
And about the intro err... uhmm... -_- Its not THAT LONG. I've seen longer Metal gear Solid 2 anyone? And we're getting used to those, anyway the intro was only for me estimated 15-20 minutes long and you can even skip it, so... its not that bad its not even slightly bad at all.
