This guy was going with GFK numbers. If you are talking about a certain company you can't just be like "Oh and we sold 380k systems since launch"
Then people will be like "WTF are you talking about? You only have 305k systems"
Then the dude has to come out and say "I was also including our giveaway specials"
And then everyone will be like "SPIN! SPIN! OMG THIS GUY IS SPINNING ME RIGHT ROUND BABY!!!!!!! ARGH! RROAR! GHRRR!"
So by him just comming out and saying it right from the bat it cuts out a lot of drama.
Nintendo and MS do the same. MS just showed a 20.1 mil shipped number I bet you they put it there.
