Seriously I know Gears 2 will have better gameplay, but Killzone 2 is just epic in ever detail. The whole game looks like its CG. Gears 2 looks awesome, and compared to anything else I think its easily better than everything other than Uncharted.
Killzone 2 really is in a league all by itself for consoles. The only game I can metion to compare it to is Crysis. Maybe some of you are basing your opinions on old footage and need to look at the newer footage or something.
Short answer: Killzone 2.
