I know that was a joke. (: I love square enix. Though they aren't as good as they were when seperate imo. They competed with eachother before the merger, and that meant better games. Now there really isn't too much competition.

Lack of competition had little to nothing to do with the drop in quality. Believe me, from what I have seen, they are better overall this gen than last gen(though they weren't bad IMO)

Most were, and there were alot of new Ips. Just look at final fantasy before the merger. Before the merger you have alot of good ones, and alot of excellent ones. Then you have FFXII after the merger. I'm sure Dragon QUest is the same, but I don't know for sure since I only played VIII. Maybe SE could change my mind, but so far this generation there are few games that really impress me like the games in the Snes, PS, and early PS2 days. I'm not saying they aren't good now, but just not as good as they use to be.
