No wonder PS3 fanboys are the ones who believe it bombed.

They though FF4 would do better since it is on the Wii and would be to the FF series like ToS on the Gamecube was to the Tales series

 

I think FF4 could have done better, but one thing's for sure - it didn't bomb. People throw around the words "bomb" and "flop" a lot, when in fact it's rare for games to really bomb or flop.

Sales have to be judged rationally, according to reasonable expectations (preferably the publisher's expectations when available).
