Sometimes yes. For instance, If a game I know nothing about is selling uber well and catches my attention, I might just go out and buy it to try it out.
However, something like this doesn't happen too ofen.
For instance too... I am sure many potential PS3 buyers may be put off because of bad sales... why is it not selling well... is there something wronge with it... will it have good future support because it's going oh so wrong???
