Mario Kart vs. Super Smash Brothers vs. the rest of the generation

Yeah... it really is different when Nintendo is the leading console huh?  I'm not sure if the Playstation1/2 games have ever had as great legs as what we're going to see on Mario Kart Wii / Wii Fit, so it's kind of hard to imagine.
