Bingo. The PS3 only leads in Japan and that market is so small. Its funny how the 360 has close to 700k in Japan and is considered a failure, but the PS3 has 2.3m and is considered a sucess....but i digress. The 360 will beat sony to 30m. I don't see the PS3 selling over 30m this gen (counting this gen as 05-11).

 

Even when the PS3 was outselling the 360 it was two steps forwards and 1 step back. The 360 has too much of a lead for a few thousand units a month more to really help sony. lol i'm just rambling now....
