Yeh considering all the talk of the next generation not starting until at least 2012 and maybe a few years after that I'd say Holographic media storage tech will be incorporated into the next console and maybe not as a disk drive system.
That may be even less intimidating for Nintendo's new audience than the disk drive eating the disks =P
