Toshiba releases a HD DVD laptop, Disney isn't releasing any new BR's and same with Fox. For Example, Borat one of the big blockbusters of last year will not come out on Blu Ray...?? Blu Ray backers seem to be scared... First of all software numbers are the point and on march 20th ,Finding Neverland (Buena Vista), Chicken Little (Buena Vista), Eragon (Fox) are being released on blu ray. If it wasn't for the delay I would have picked up Mr. & Ms. Smith alongside casino royal. If this is a spin attempt, it is weak and has no merit. HD-DVD is suffering badly. If this rate keeps up Blu ray may become the defacto standard for HD soon.
BR only started outselling HD DVD since January 1st 2007. Saying that they're "suffering badly" is little over reactive. Has the BR camp gotten a huge boost from the PS3... yes 100%. Oh and just because Sony's marketing machine says the format war is over doesn't mean it actually is.
