Only 2007?
I'm having flashbacks to 2005 (when Nintendo used E3 to demonstrate Nintendogs, Brain Training, and Animal Crossing: Wild World), 2006 (when Nintendo use a large portion of E3 to demonstrate Wii Sports, Wii Music and Wii Play), and 2007 (when Nintendo used a large portion of E3 to demonstrate Wii Fit). At every step people have claimed that Nintendo abandoned their "Core" gamers, and because of Nintendo's focus on these games at E3 (the only event that gets mainstream attention) these games have sold an amazing ammount and grew the industry in a way that no other games have.
