They wouldn't do it. When I was reading the history of Rare article on IGN, they mentioned Conker's Bad Fur Day was basically disowned by Nintendo. They really didn't want anything to do with it. If you look at the kinds of games Nintendo makes, I'm sure you can see why. Their idea of potty humor at Nintendo is allowing Wario to fart. Not exactly cutting edge comedy.
I would like Nintendo to take over the reins of Castlevania and see if they couldn't finally get the damn franchise working in 3D.
