Pretty much what you wrote is what I did, I've done everything you can possibly do in Final Fantasy VII and I was on my way to do the same with FF XII, I have like 99 hours and like 34 mins but I stopped playing it because I got a PS3 and I started playing a bunch of other games, but some day when I get very bored I'll probably go back to FFXII it's a good time passer.
