If Nintendo loses its devouted fans and casual gamers leave console gaming (as they have in the past and will do in the future), they will have actually shot themselves in the foot (not feet btw). |
I would like to see instances where casuals left. Also Nintendo has been making plenty of great games for the core, and there are such things as third parties too. If they don't have a game done, then they don't have a game done. Don't expect them to release an unfinished game just so their fans don't complain this year, which they most likely will because the game is unfinished. ALso the number who will leave are part of the minority, and most Nintendo fans got over there being very little this year from Nintendo. I personally plan on buying around 10-20 titles for my wii in the second half of this year, and plenty more next year.
