It was only July 2nd that I started this thread: Wii at 46.0% marketshare." In 26 days Wii has gained 0.5% marketshare.
In that last thread somebody noted that Wii was gaining 0.1% about every other week.
Since then, there were 3 weeks in a row with an increase of 0.1%. This week there was an increase of 0.2% so far.
This week, before Japanese numbers came in,
PS3 sold 106,482.
360 sold 140,071.
Wii sold 322,623.
This week so far Wii's sold 56.68246728604157589216692200655% marketshare.
Japanese numbers should bump that number up a little too.
It's in cruise control to breaking 50% worldwide.
And it's been accelerating ever since E3!
I still predict Wii breaking 50% somewhere between Black Friday and Christmas. Definitely by New Year's.
