Exactly, it is still in stock at Amazon which means it hasn't sold out. If they're still in stock it mean no one is buying them.
Sony has to worry a bit here. Shortages at the same time your competitors just cut their price and introduced a new model. People looking for 40GB PS3's might walk out of the store with 20 GB or 60 GB 360s.
